IMPERO is a sculptural incense burner in contemporary ceramics, handmade in Portugal.

A lion at the centre of a star. Strength and light in one piece. IMPERO was born from hands, without moulds, without haste. An imposing face that transforms the ritual of incense into a moment of presence and intention. Place it on a table, on a shelf — it will effortlessly dominate the space.

Designed for burning incense, it transforms the aroma and the movement of smoke into part of the room's experience. Its form was conceived to function both as a utilitarian object and a sculptural piece, maintaining its presence even when not in use.
