NEMI is a sculptural incense burner in contemporary ceramics, handmade in Portugal.
Inspired by the small volcanic lake with waters so calm and crystalline that Diana, the Roman goddess of the moon and nature, used it to contemplate herself.
Designed for burning incense, it transforms the aroma and the movement of smoke into part of the room's experience. Its form was conceived to function both as a utilitarian object and a sculptural piece, maintaining its presence even when not in use.
Each piece is unique, displaying the subtle variations inherent to manual work.
